OS X Mountain LionWithin 7 months after its previous release (OSX Lion), Apple has launched yet another release of the operating system for its Mac platform – OS X Mountain Lion. In an indication of how fast Google and Apple are compared to Microsoft, Apple has launched 8 versions of the OSX in the time Microsoft took to launch 2. It looks like Apple wanted to steal Microsoft’s thunder – a lot of the new features are direct competitors to the proposed features in Windows 8. Microsoft will be launching its public beta in 2 weeks, and Apple seems to have timed this release for that. Also Apple has taken plenty of popular features from the iOs and moved it to Mac. Junglee.com: Finally Amazon comes to India

Junglee.comAmazon, the world leader in ecommerce was always expected to come to India at some point and this month finally they have launched their India venture, named Junglee.com. Junglee was originally an ecommerce company started by a bunch of Stanford students in 1996 that was acquired by Amazon in 1998. Now, Amazon is utilizing that brand name to goo effect. iBooks: What’s in store for the new iBooks 2?

ibooksApple has introduced the new version of its iBooks application that has the potential to change how students read textbooks. As more than 1.5 million educational institutions across the world are using iPads, this release focused on textbooks. Also, Apple has partners with Pearson, McGraw Hill and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt and thus is going active on making this the future of textbooks.
